LASER TREATMENT AT SOURCE OF HEALTH

REGENERATIVE AND MEDICAL AESTHETICS

We utilize a variety of lasers in our treatments. Our 1540 Non-Ablative laser works by delivering a single wavelength of light and energy to produce a controlled injury to the skin. Great for all skin types, this promotes skin rejuvenation and is used for skin resurfacing. If you’re in need of more aggressive treatment, we also offer a CO2 Ablative laser for full resurfacing of the skin – a gold standard in the field. We also have lasers that specifically assist with hair reduction.

SKIN RESURFACING

Our fractional, 1540 non-ablative laser treatments are available for skin resurfacing and the treatment of surgical scars, acne scars, stretch marks, and melasma. Rejuvenation starts to occur once the laser has jump started the cellular renewal process. Your skin will begin healing after treatment has been completed, as collagen and elastin production increase.

CO2 TETRA FULL SKIN RESURFACING

SKIN RESURFACING

Tetra delivers incredible results for skin resurfacing using DOT fractional energy. This means we deliver power to the skin and leave healthy skin around it to heal towards each dot. The big problem with old machines is that they take the entire top layer of skin off and leave you with serious downtime and results that often look waxy. With the CO2 Ablative laser, the skin tightening effects of this technology are akin to a face lift vs a facial, making it a very powerfully transformative treatment. Each technology we bring to Source of Health must meet the rigors of science and stand above its competition. We never sacrifice quality when we are raising the standard of care.

HAIR REDUCTION

Hair removal has been proven to be a safe and effective procedure for those with unwanted hair. During this process, an IPL laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle. The intensity of the light weakens the follicle, inhibiting future hair growth. You can expect to see a gradual decrease in hair thickness and the amount of hair in the treated area. Since this treatment only targets hair in the active phase of the hair growth cycle, multiple treatments are often needed for complete removal.

“In order to grow, you must be uncomfortable enough to leave the shell you live in.”

COMMON QUESTIONS

  1. How long does a typical skin resurfacing treatment take?

Most services range from 20-60 minutes.

  2. How many skin resurfacing treatments do I need?

Everyone’s skin is completely different, and for that, so are their treatment plans. For ultimate results, typically 3-5 treatments are needed, with monthly or yearly maintenance.

  3. How much does a skin resurfacing treatment cost?

Best suggestion we can always give, never pay for a treatment separately! Treatments always end up being cheater and saving you money over all when done in a package.

  4. How long until I see results with skin resurfacing treatments?

Depending on the concern your skin has, nothing is better overnight. The 90 day rule applies. 90 day of treatments plus 90 days of healing (typically 6 months or more).

  5. Does laser hair reduction make all the hair completely go away?

Technically it is Laser Hair Reduction, which means it reduces how many actively growing hair follicles there are in the treated area, however many people have had great results where 90% of the active hair is removed.

  6. How many treatments will someone generally need for laser hair reduction?

All laser hair reduction is done in packages of 6 starting off in a specific time frame depending on what area of the body is being treated.

  7. What needs to be done prior to a laser hair reduction treatment?
Make sure to stop waxing and tweezing the hairs a month prior to treatment. Do not be actively outside in the sun 2 weeks prior, and shave the night before treatment (unless told otherwise by provider).
